New NZ 3YO winner by Peak

Promising PEAK three-year-old filly Steelintheheel notched her maiden success at only her third start on the grass at Methven, New Zealand on Sunday (December 3).

Starting from the No. 1 gate, the filly was buried four back along the marker pegs most of the way.

Last rounding the home turn, Steelintheheel mounted a spectacular finishing burst to prevail by a length.

PEAK has sired 19 individual winners in NZ this season for progeny earnings of over $340,000.
